The Music Therapy Association of British Columbia is the provincial body made up of Accredited Music Therapists throughout British Columbia. Working in conjunction with the national body, MTABC's mission is to ensure quality music therapy services, research and education as well as promoting the field. 

The Canadian Association for Music Therapy is the national organizational agency for Accredited Music Therapists in Canada. CAMT aims to ensure MTAs receive quality education, adhere to the code of ethics and provide support through accreditation. Much like MTABC, CAMT also works to promote the field and provide excellent music therapy services. 

Music Heals is a not for profit charitable organization that works to raise awareness of the healing powers of Music. Music Heals has worked to support many Music Therapy services throughout BC and Canada. With the funds they've raised, Music Heals has increased services in children's hospitals, senior's centers, at risk youth, rehabilitation centers, AIDS and HIV programs, palliative care and bereavement support.

Musicians without Borders works internationally to process grief and loss with communities divided by war. Music Therapists work long term in areas such Rwanda, Bosnia, Palestine, Tanzania and many more. Together with music and long term commitments within a community, Musicians without Borders supports the of development of skills and talents to process grief and trauma and build bridges of reconciliation.
