Annette has worked as a Certified Music Therapist (MTA) since 2016. She has completed the Bachelor of Music Therapy program at Capilano University, a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance and the Neurologic Music Therapy Certification. She was the first music therapist to develop and implement a music therapy program in Northwest British Columbia.

Her clinical background involves working with children and youth with various support needs. This includes supporting children who are grieving, experiencing anxiety and the effects of trauma. She has experience working with children who have various diagnosis which include but are not limited to: OCD, ADHD, ASD, hearing and visual impairments, speech delay and global development delay.

Other clinical experience include working with individuals who have Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, individuals recovering from strokes, and those in palliative care and bereavement.
